Morisset Outboard Services was established in 1996 and remains a family‑owned and operated small business. Together, we hold more than 50 years of combined marine industry experience. For over three decades, we have proudly supported the local community, servicing Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, the Hunter, the Hawkesbury River and surrounding regions. We are an authorised Evinrude Service Centre, as well as a Mercury and MerCruiser engine and Horizon Boat dealership. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional customer service, high‑quality workmanship and the use of genuine parts.

Horizon Aluminium Boats

  • Horizon Aluminium Boats had its beginning in 1992 founded by Bob and Christine James and has grown to become a well respected and quality brand within the marine industry. From a little shed in Burleigh producing just a couple of models to today Horizon Boats produce 84 different models catering for all markets, and producing approximately 1500 annually.

  • Bob James has over 45 years of experience in the marine industry, from skippering yachts, working for well known manufactures to winning power boat championships. Bob stands by the company’s mission statement in designing and producing a range of Australian made boats to suit everyone and making family dreams come true.

  • The Horizon name is highly regarded among the general public and government departments, for quality, ride, and value for money. Horizon Boats prides itself on being a family owned and operated company, with two generations involved in the company.

  • Horizon Boats has a strong commitment to research and development, with new models being released and constant improvements to production techniques to stay at the forefront of boat design, and to suit all brands of motors.

  • Horizon Boats have enjoyed much success over the years, with exclusive contracts and awards such as manufacturing a range of boats for a Mercury Marine, to building the Queensland State Emergency service response boats. To the latest accolade of Modern Boating 2008 “Family Boat of the Year” for their 540 SeaBreeze (bowrider). All these boats were designed and developed at Horizon Boats' factory on the Gold Coast.
